CareerSource Florida‘s newest board members reflect the organization’s continued commitment to enhancing Florida’s talent development system. Three Florida leaders – representing small business development, apprenticeships and economic development – joined the board in January:

  • Michael Myhre, CEO and Network State Director of the Florida Small Business Development Center Network;
  • James Nolan, Training Director at the Jacksonville Electrical Joint Apprenticeship Association; and
  • Stan W. Connally, Jr., Chairman, President and CEO of Gulf Power Company.

“The newest members of the CareerSource Florida Board of Directors are a welcome addition to an already strong group of leaders. I look forward to their contributions as they provide expertise in the vital areas of small business, talent pipeline and statewide economic development to the board and to Florida’s nationally recognized workforce system,” said board Chairman Britt Sikes.
