This webinar follows the successful completion of the first in the series that provided an overview of the USDOL Pay-for-Performance Apprenticeship Grant Program—emphasizing Florida’s commitment to the continued expansion of the nation’s shipbuilding, maritime, defense, and advanced manufacturing apprenticeship ecosystem. Florida was recently awarded $40 million by the U.S. Department of Labor to support nationwide efforts to expand apprenticeships in the defense industrial base, shipbuilding and maritime manufacturing sectors—with nearly 80 partners across the state offering Letters of Support for this new program. 245 stakeholders listened in on the first webinar.
