This training video is designed to show how one might design, develop, and roll out a career pathway to support job seekers and business talent needs. Career pathways are connected systems of education and training programs that build upon one another to help a person enter and advance in his/her career in an industry. Pathways are business-defined and business-driven and aligned to the skill needs of targeted industry sectors and are explicitly focused on helping people more easily and quickly enter and advance in their careers. Sector strategies are the business-driven workforce and other solutions developed and implemented by education, training, and other public partners in the sector partnership to address the needs and challenges identified by companies in the target industry.
