Kate Doyle

Kate Doyle is Deputy Secretary for the FloridaCommerce Division of Workforce Services. In this role, she administers and oversees the state’s workforce programs, manages performance and financial oversight for the division, conducts labor market analyses to inform strategic decision-making and program alignment, and represents the division strategically, acting as chief liaison for workforce initiatives and maintaining operational continuity. Kate previously served as Assistant Deputy Secretary for the FloridaCommerce Division of Community Development, where she oversaw the development and implementation of economic and community development programs and initiatives that support the state’s businesses and communities.

Additionally, at the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (which later became FloridaCommerce), she led the bureau of small cities and rural communities and assisted in the oversight of the division of community development. Using her strong background in government relations, grant administration, strategic planning, and performance measurement, she successfully secured and managed billions of dollars in federal and state funding for community development projects and programs, contributing to the development and enactment of several key policies that affect the state’s economic growth and prosperity. Doyle has a proven track record of delivering results, building relationships, and solving complex problems, and is committed to advancing the mission and vision of FloridaCommerce, which is to foster a vibrant and resilient economy that benefits all Floridians.
