TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – CareerSource Florida Senior Vice President of Business & Workforce Development Andra Cornelius has earned recertification as a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) by the International Economic Development Council. This designation is an acclaimed international recognition that demonstrates principal skills in economic development and professional attainment. Ms. Cornelius first earned this designation in 1999.

During her nearly 20-year tenure within Florida’s workforce system, Ms. Cornelius has led the provision of more than $317 million in awarded grants used to train more than 358,400 Floridians for jobs in key state industries. These grants help businesses grow and compete and employees increase their skills and earnings potential.
Ms. Cornelius’ latest recertification is effective through 2020.
